Overall, Trattoria del Tempo Buono is recognized as a reliable spot for traditional Italian fare, appealing to both casual visitors and repeat patrons.
Walked in here early in the evening and was able to get a table without a wait. The service was prompt and the food delicious! I wanted to try different things so went for several appetizers. Everything came out right temperature and fast. My server was very cheerful and kind. It was nice there!
The lasagna was fire! The best one i have tried. Try their specialty appetizer with mortadella. Every ingredient was fresh and so delicious. One of the best restaurants i have tried in Bologna. The tiramisu was not giving it but anyway you can try it. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
We visited this restaurant for a late lunch. Even though the place was quite full (both inside and outside), we managed to get a table quite quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive and quite fast. Our picks were: Green lasagne which was absolutely delicious - literally melting in the month (not overcooked though), meat was tender, cheese on top was distinguishable. I think this was the best lasagne I ever had. Definitely the best food we had in Bologna. Selection of Italian meat and cheese (Tagliere Misto) plus Tigelle con pesto modenese - three pieces of round bread that look like a biscuit. It is accompanied with lard and you eat it with Parmesan. That dish was also very tasty. Definitely worth a try as we didn’t see it anywhere else. If I ever come to Bologna, I will definitely come in again. Grazie mille!
We dropped by in lunch time while driving to Florence from Venice. We were immediately greeted by a very nice waitress. She seated us right away. We tried two starters and four of their pastas which were delicious but sadly didn’t have time for the dessert. The lasagna was the best I have tried compared to Florence and Venice (fish lasagna for Venice). I also recommend trying the pasta al ragu and spinach ravioli (I think?). Mortadella sandwiches were tasty as well.
I had a Spanish gazpacho Italian style. Delicious . Followed by two colours of pasta with sausage in a cheese sauce. It stopped my hunger To conclude with a ricotta cake with raspberries and black chocolate chips. Each time I come to Bologna, I visit this restaurant and I know why
My partner and I ate here on our first night in Bologna based on reading good reviews online. We tried the Bologna specialty dish - tortellini in broth, and the unique straw and hay pasta. They were both fantastic! The desserts were amazing too - especially the panna cotta with pistachio and raspberry which was absolutely delightful. The only comment we have was that the service was slow and at times felt like we were being ignored as we had to ask to order and pay twice.
